Material: all the production is made of CW614N (CuZn39Pb3) and CW617N (CuZn40Pb) according to UNI EN 12168:1999. Brass is bought in bar or in lingots. Regardind products in bronze, it is meant CB491K (CuSn5Zn5Pb5-B) or CC491K (CuSn5Zn5Pb5-C).

Design Characteristics: all the products are designed using modern CAD-CAM system. The piece is always overdesigned with respect to the normal use that it will have to stand up to.

Construction Characteristics: the smallest fittings are obtained from turned rods, those of average size are obtained by hot pressing and then turned on transfer machines or CNC lathes. The piece of biggest size are obtained by chill casting and then they are turned on CNC lathes or transfer machines. No piece are made by die casting. Our machines have centesimal tolerances and are periodically checked in order to guarantee that this precision is maintained.

Tightness Guarantee: in order to prevent microporosity problems, all fittings are subjected to close inspection, not performed by sampling but piece by piece.

Threads: the production follows the UNI EN 10226-1:2006 (external threads are taper, internal threads are parallel) and UNI ISO 228/1 part 1 dated 01/1983 (external and internal threads are parallel). Other threads are available on request. All threads are checked with certified threads plug gauges and periodically tested according to precise standards.
